Our Team

Greg Trappett is a well-respected and energetic professional with an expansive network of contacts and a reputation for ‘getting the job done’.

With an exceptional record in lead generation and with excellent vision and strategic thinking – particularly in sales and marketing – Greg has the ability to cut through and produce the right solution for both client and Company.

Greg has worked tirelessly over the past 10 years in National BDM roles – one of them being solely responsible for more than 80 clients. Regular commutes between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are par for the course while his superior time management skills are key to his ability to be across issues enabling him to wisely counsel clients to get the best results each and every time.

Possessing an engaging and a natural upbeat style, Greg is a proactive practitioner with a genuine manner always keeping the door open, on any approach – large or small.

Greg has sound leadership and strategic business skills in Direct Marketing, Sales, Customer Relationship Management and Business Operations and his tertiary skills gained while still employed doing a Masters in Sport Business, have aided his career path.

He holds a very strong focus on building highly effective relationships, developing key stakeholders and creating an environment where innovation and personal contribution to the team is encouraged and celebrated.

Off the field, travel is a passion with highlights including getting off the beaten track and meeting new people and cultures. Some of his adventures include climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Kota Kinabalu and the Annapurna ranges in Nepal, Hsipaw and beautiful Myanmar (Burma), amazing Bhutan, meeting the Bwindi Gorillas in Uganda and D-Day commemoration in Hiroshima.

Having played with the lions in South Africa, the tigers in Thailand, and elephants in Nepal, Greg has come up close and personal with a rhino; seen most game and wildlife in the Serengeti; and the even stopped off to see the pandas in Chengdu.

Gary O’Hanlon developed a passion for communicating and dealing with people early in his career. Gary has never shied away from work. In his early years he peddled his way through local streets delivering papers before becoming a waiter at local restaurants.

Gary assisted in the family business aiding in the sales department before moving into a more face-to-face client driven role at the South Melbourne market.

Gary further extended his hospitality skills quickly moving from front of house duties to Duty Manager roles. Combining all of his hospitality skills he stretched into other areas including Corporate Hospitality and events before expanding even further into various customer service roles within the prestigious Crown Casino.

Gary\’s people skills, negotiating ability and desire to push him self further forced him to look at a career in sales. He was quickly able to see that the majority of the skills he had gained in hospitality could be cross related into a sales career and has thrived on the challenge offered at Collection Consultancy Australia.
Gary is upbeat, loves to assist and understands what needs to be achieved to get a win/win situation for both the client and the company. He prides himself on being honest and ethical – which is what the company motto is!
Aside from work Gary likes to stay active with keen interests in sport especially AFL and his Western Bulldogs, L.A. Lakers, Manchester United and the Australian Cricket team. He likes to keep himself fit at the gym or by playing football.
Gary also likes to travel and has been to the U.S.A, Mexico, Europe and lived in the U.K on a working visa for 18 months managing a hostel and of course living like a tourist.
